While Tinder is the go-to online community for those looking for ‘love’, the App has begun to introduce music sales into its business model.

Basically, here’s how it works: Tinder will create fake profiles for musicians, whereby swiping right will give you access to their music. After that, you’ll be messaged a link where you can purchase their work for a substantially lower price – $3.99 on Tinder as opposed to $7.99 on other platforms.

Tinder’s first artist is Zedd, where users who decide to give him the green light can listen to his new album True Colors. We’re not sure how successful this will be, seeing as people on Tinder are usually looking for one thing, and one thing only. Still, they’ve found a seamless way of incorporating music into the App’s existing layout and potentially generating profit.
