The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards have returned for their seventh year…

Funny animal photos are the best kinds of photos, and each year the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards delivers the goods. This year, they sorted through around five thousand images from more than 85 countries to find the silliest animal snaps of the year.

Taking out the big prize, this year’s overall winner was Jennifer Hadley’s photograph, ‘Not So Cat-Like Reflexes’, of a 3-month-old lion cub falling from a tree in Tanzania. Other finalists includes sassy penguins, a yawning hippo and a waving racoon, as well as a duckling jumping across the backs of turtles in a pond full of lily pads.
