Adapting to the challenges of safely exercising in 2020, Under Armour has created a new face mask designed specifically for exercise and performance. The UA SPORTSMASK comes as COVID-19 restrictions begin to loosen in various countries around the world, with gyms and exercise studios slowly beginning to open up.

The mask is reusable, water-resistant and features a three-layer design specifically engineered for athletes. To break it down, the first layer incorporates air pockets for structure, to ensure that the mask enables an enhanced airflow by staying off the mouth and nose. The second layer also allows for air to flow through, while making it difficult for moisture and sweat to pass through. And the third layer features a fabric that cools the skin, also treated with a technology to prevent the growth of bacteria on the mask. The mask will also come in four sizes and various colours which are yet to be announced.
