Globes sustainability push continues to break ground.

These days it’s hard to escape the damage that the clothing industry does to the natural world. It’s on our feeds, it’s on the news, and it’s in the back of our minds. While most companies make tokenistic efforts or quietly remove themselves from the conversation surrounding sustainability, Globe are tackling the issues of production and waste head-on. With the company being made up of skaters, surfers and snowboarders it makes sense that they’re eager to protect the outdoor world where they play and work.

Following their Dark Hollow collection with Dion Agius and their debut LLV range, we now have the Living Low Velocity Issue 02, which once again incorporates sustainably sourced fibres such as recycled nylons and polyester made from discarded coconuts husks and plastic bottles. No, in case you’re wondering, we had no idea you could do that either.

“Low Velocity represents progress for us. This is a marathon, not a sprint. And we’re proud of the steady momentum we’re building as a brand,” Globe president Matt Wong says about their environmentally focussed structure.
