Of course you haven’t, and what does that even mean? Well, it’s the first phrase that comes to mind when scrolling through the feed of freerunning and parkour champion Dominic Di Tommaso (known online as Dom Tomato). The 28-year-old Aussie stares down huge stair sets, brick walls and deathly drops on a daily basis, somehow making them look like a children’s playground as he hurls his body over, around and through them.
Watching his videos, which he shares with his 1.3 million Instagram followers and 150K YouTube subs, it’s impossible not to get that same tingle you get when you see a skater take on a big rail or a surfer at Nazare – you know what is happening simply isn’t natural, but it’s exciting to see someone do it.
The precision and training that goes into what Dom does is no laughing matter either. Revealing all the slips and trips along the way, his followers get to see the painstaking precision that goes into every trick he (eventually) lands. It’s that kind of dedication that has seen him become a big name beyond the parkour and freerunning world.
Get (more) familiar with Dom below and head here to follow him on Instagram if heights and ridiculous drops don’t make you squeamish…
