While there may be a growing chorus of professional boxers (and armchair commentators) ready to put their hand up to take on social media personality turned boxer Jake Paul, rumours have it that his next opponent has been confirmed with an announcement coming tomorrow. That man is Tyron Woodley, a former UFC fighter who took the Welterweight belt back in 2016 and successfully defended it four times, before eventually losing it to current holder Kamaru Usman.

If the tweet below is anything to go off, dates and location will follow tomorrow, along with (we’re assuming) plenty of trolling from Paul, who recently made headlines when he stole Floyd Mayweather’s hat. Since then he’s also entered a Clubhouse chat to disrupt a Mayweather interview ahead of his brother Logan Paul’s bout with the champ next week.

While Woodley is coming off the back of four losses in the UFC (before his contract ended), some of his previous takedowns have been pretty powerful. Let’s hope that translates to the ring, ey:
