Having just returned from a one-game suspension – the first in his career – after elbowing Isaiah Stewart in the face, LeBron James is once again in the headlines following a courtside confrontation. Only this time, it wasn’t with a player, but with two Pacers fans who were watching on at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
During overtime, the Lakers star dragged an official over to the crowd, pointing at the two alleged offenders, who were subsequently removed. Though it’s not understood what was said, LeBron later stated in the post-match press conference that they’d used “obscene gestures and language” that should not “be tolerated.” Also adding, “There’s a difference from cheering for your team and not wanting the other team to win and things I would never say to a fan and they shouldn’t say to me.”

One of the ejectees can be seen mocking LeBron with exaggerated crying faces as they are escorted out, shortly before The Lakers went on to win the game. James also posted a season-high 39 points, so it’s fair to say that he got the last laugh in there…
