Aussie cycling company MAAP and Munich-based music and clothing label Public Possession have once again bridged the performancewear vs streetwear divide.

Outside of being culture-leading brands, there isn’t a crazy overlap between MAAP and Public Possession; one is the go-to for cycling clobber, the other is a music label and clothing company that specialises in vintage-inspired streetwear. But none of that matters, because the differences between the two are more important than where they overlap, and are certainly what makes their Volume II drop so special.

Almost too eclectic for cycling, nearly too sporty for street, the drop sits in the sweet spot that taps into both communities authentically, while also looking rad enough that any old person will be absorbed by it. Bold logos, patchy shirts and even pretzel bike shorts (duh) all appear in the drop, which features about 30 pieces, i.e. enough to fill your bloody wardrobe!

“This one’s louder, looser and more fun. A proper mash-up of MAAP and Public Possession, performance without taking any of it too seriously,” says Misha Glisovic, MAAP’s Chief Creative Officer.

“This collection is dedicated to childhood memories & travelling. Picking up signs & symbols on the road, listening to music, biking down the hills. It’s all a big mix!” says Marvin Schuhmann, Co-Founder of Public Possession.
