Having taken place successfully in Innsbruck, Beijing and Los Angeles, Air + Style festival is heading to Sydney in August 2018.

Sydney will be seeing white for three days next year, with Air + Style bringing 60 of the world’s best skiiers and snowboarders to The Domain, along with a 16-story ramp that will see snow drizzled in the heart of the CBD. Olympic gold medallist Shaun White is a major force behind the event, and has some big plans for it’s debut Down Under.

“I am so excited that Air + Style is coming to Sydney – I love this city,” he said. “We are going to bring the mountain to the city and take over the Domain with snow, music, culture and tech. I am so proud of how this has come together – the best snowboarders and skiers in the world, a diverse music lineup and a festival of culture right in the middle of one of the world’s iconic cities. I guarantee a good time will be had by all!”

So besides the athletes, just what can we expect on the music front? Previous international editions of Air + Style have featured Major Lazer, Flume, TV On The Radio, Portugal The Man, J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar. The Air + Style resume, combined with the sizeable capacity of The Domain, means that we’re probably in for some big sonic treats in August.

Tickets for the event, which runs from August 3 to August 5, are on sale now right here. Stay tuned for the lineup, it’s looking big:
