Need more of this energy…

In a proper act of solidarity, Adidas has united with Nike for their anti-racism campaign, resharing their #UntilWeAllWin campaign across it’s social media platforms.

The move comes after Nike altered it’s iconic “Just Do It” slogan in response to the murder of George Floyd by police on Monday. Taking to it’s own socials, the sneaker-juggernaut shared the clip titled “For Once, Don’t Do It”, with the video delivering the company’s stance on institutional racism with a simple black screen.

“For once, don’t do it. Don’t pretend there’s not a problem in America. Don’t turn your back on racism,” the clip read. “Don’t accept innocent lives being taken from us. Don’t make any more excuses. Don’t think this doesn’t affect you. Don’t sit back and be silent. Don’t think you can’t be part of the change. Let’s all be part of the change.”

Adidas reshared the clip with the message “Together is how we move forward. Together is how we make change.”

It’s pretty awesome to see the two competitors uniting, especially for a cause as important as this. Fingers crossed we’ll be seeing more of this energy in the future…
