The Solento Surf Festival will be a cocktail of art, film, surf, and the occasional tequila!

Having drawn massive crowds of surf fans in the States over the last four or so years, Solento Surf Festival is finally making its debut Aussie run, taking over Burleigh and surrounds for a red-hot (or maybe yellow-hot?!) week of comps, surf films, music, and art.

Hosted by the team from our favourite tequila, Solento, the festival will see Rob Machado and co take to the water at Burleigh, with a range of FREE comps for the community from June 7th – yes, that means you could wind up duking it out with Machado in a heat.

The legendary Taylor Steele will host a masterclass on June 9th at HOTA in Surfers Paradise, sharing the wisdom that has seen him rise to the pinnacle of his craft, win multiple awards, and shoot more waves than you’ve had hot dinners. You do not want to miss this!

The following night, there’ll be music and art taking over at HOTA with work from Otis Carey, David Bromley, Karlee Mackie and more. This will be running (for FREE) all month long. And on June 12th, they’ll launch the film festival at the Mondrian Gold Coast, which will be the hub of the best surf films, panel conversations, live music, and more.
