Gonna be popular…

In news that’s way overdue, Under Armour is reportedly giving Steph Curry his own Under Armour brand, much like Michael Jordans brand-deal with Nike. The Mary-land based sportswear company first signed Curry back in 2013, with Curry renewing his contract with them in 2018. But Curry only re-signed with the brand due to his being promised his own brand in the vein of MJ, an honour few players ever get. It’s also reported that Curry will be getting his own logo on the sneaks, instead of the iconic Under Armour logo.

The news was announced in an Instagram post by the Bleacher Report, prompting fellow NBA stars Dwyane Wade, Damian Lillard and Bradley Beal to congratulate Curry in the comments of the post. Check it below and congrats to Steph for the huge accomplishment!
