The new colourway is the mixture of tech, comfort and aesthetics.

Call us diehards, call us worshippers, but we’re proud members of the cult of Vans. Which pretty much guarantees that a new colourway of a classic silhouette, re-engineered for skating, is going to be making headlines throughout the LWA office. Maybe we need to get out more. Maybe we need to give up on this hyperfixation. Or maybe, just maybe, we need a pair of these shoes.

With the Skate Slip-On, Vans has taken its most iconic shape and armed it with everything a modern skater could want: suede and 10 oz canvas uppers built to take a beating, PopCush footbeds to soak up heavy landings, and DuraCap reinforcements in all the right spots. Don’t forget the SickStick rubber for that grippy locked-in feel, plus the padded collar and internal tongue straps.

The pink-black colourway is bloody smooth. Of course, it helps that Nixen Osbourne is the one modelling the shoe… Check out some snaps below and head here to shop them now.
