You may have seen footage of Drake airballing basketball shots as recently as last year…

However, it appears the Canadian rapper may have upped his game, as new video shows Drake in his finest form yet. During the pickup basketball game, which was uploaded to fellow musician Smilez’ Instagram this week, Drake can be seen pulling off three-pointers and turnarounds on his Kobe Bryant-themed court.

Elsewhere in his Toronto mansion, the ‘One Dance’ rapper shows off some trick shots before flaunting an alley-oop with Clemson Tigers athlete and dunk star Anthony Hamilton Jr. The clips are a far cry from 2021, when footage of Drake grossly miscalculating a shot against rapper Tory Lanez did the rounds on Twitter.

Even earlier in 2014, Drake continued his losing streak when he air-balled a three-pointer while warming up with the Kentucky Wildcats men’s basketball team. Despite a rocky record, the ‘One Dance’ rapper has long been an avid basketball fan, and is the global ambassador for his hometown team, the Toronto raptors.
