Featuring slow-motion surf footage and a snarling soundtrack, the video sees Goodall in action through a turquoise lens as he tackles the sizeable waves on the Indonesian coastline.
The video also celebrates Goodall’s new collaboration with Vans, consisting of sneakers and apparel. “This range is the first time I’ve ever had real autonomy. I’ve been drawing and painting a lot, and I’ve made clothing for myself quite a lot over the years. It was pretty cool drawing for a purpose, I’ve had art shows but I’ve never commissioned anything,” he says.
The collection sees Goodall minise Vans’ classic checkerboard print and transfer it onto an Authentic, while he also offers a clean take on the Black Ball Hi. On the clothing side of things, we can see Goodall’s hypnotic, glitchy graphics on hats, tees and boardshorts. Shop it all right here.
