But while his age might raise eyebrows on paper, the professional skater has wowed audiences across the world with his jaw-dropping talent on the board. He took out the illustrious Bowl-A-Rama title earlier this year, and with hopes of representing Australia at the 2020 Olympics, Keegan’s ambition is only matched by his motivation and pure talent, fostered by a decade of skating since he was a child.
Raised in southern Queensland, Keegan now spends the majority of his year travelling to skate, with his home base now at Encinitas, California. We spent a sunny day with Keegan to see his skate skills and chat through a day in his life. Despite snatching the spotlight at such a young age, Keegan is a regular kid who loves ice cream, friendly competition and spending some time in the bowl.
