The world is both wonderful and weird in equal measure.
Last night, in Los Angeles at the Largo theatre, the motley crew of Neil and Liam Finn, Mac DeMarco, and very randomly Mike Myers, performed the song BBC from the 90’s hit comedy Austin Powers.
Myers reprised his iconic role and belted out the tune with the same vigour and energy he did nearly 20 years ago. The novelty of hearing the Canadian comedy legend screaming “BBC 1, BBC 2!” at the top of his lungs is still as funny and strangely invigorating as it was watching it the first time around.
