After asking each other why they didn’t see more girls skating together, a group of skaters formed a collective with two major objectives; to support each other, and to have fun shredding the streets of Melbourne. From there, DNL crew’s community has grown rapidly, with over 30 members dedicated to making skateboarding a more inclusive sport.
Here, we catch up with DNL crew members Tegan, Estelle, Elly, and Melanie as they take us to some of their favourite spots around the city, tell us how important their team is to them, and talk about the power of skateboarding.
