Anyone who knows anything about Lenny Kravitz will be aware that he’s equally as passionate about photography as he is talented at music. So it makes sense that the rock and roll legend has teamed up with Leica to design a limited edition version of the Leica M Monochrom kit. Inspired by his nomadic lifestyle, it’s definitely the most Kravitz thing we’ve ever seen.
The ‘Drifter’ comes with Leica Summicron-M 28mm f/2 ASPH, and an APO-Summicron-M 75mm f/2 ASPH lenses and a case to carry them. All the items in the kit are finished with a sepia brown paint and the camera and strap use a synthetic snakeskin that is designed to reflect Kravitz’s wardrobe. It’s a fabric that he heard about from animal rights activist and fashion designer, Stella McCartney.
