This is looking very promising.

It seems that despite playing in one of Australia’s most loved rock bands, The Jezabels, frontwoman Hayley Mary can still find time to work on new music projects – and we’re bloody stoked she has been. Today we have the first taste of her solo work that has been rumoured for a little while around town, ‘The Piss, The Perfume’.

Taken from her forthcoming debut EP, the track loaded with hooks buoyed Mary’s signature vocal delivery, and we can already imagine this one going down a treat in the pubs and clubs of Aus. Shot partially on Super 8 film, the clip sees Mary giving us a dancing tour of Sydney watering holes and sights, as she belts out the tune.

Hayley Mary will be performing her debut headline shows in at Yah Yahs in Melbourne in October and Sydney’s Botany View Hotel (dates below info here), and she’ll also be on the road supporting Alex Lahey (dates below).
