Feast your eyes on this Vans X Sandy Liang range.

Drawing inspiration from her Queens upbringing and her grandma’s hand-me-downs, New York designer Sandy Liang knows how to embody that nostalgic 90s energy. Bold and youthful, it’s that spirit which she has encapsulated in her upcoming limited edition collab with action sports icons Vans, which is due out February 21st.

The collection incorporates cheetah fleece, jewellery pendants, ankle bracelets and even pink velour which is based off the couch in Liang’s studio – and that’s just the kicks. There’s also a range of clothing which includes tanks, tracksuits, a “gas station-style” jacket and a classic 90s bucket hat.

“To see my ideas come to life on such an iconic collection of footwear and apparel is a dream come true,” Liang says of the collab.. “This collection embodies the playful dreaminess of the nineties, as well as the grittiness of downtown New York City.”
