Thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Andrew Bogut after his public execution at the hands of Melbourne United player Shawn Long. That’s the sentiment that Corey Williams is throwing out there after Bogut delivered a particularly unremarkable performance as The Kings allowed United to level their three-game semi-final, after a 125-80 loss.
Taking to Twitter, Williams had the following to say:
BREAKING NEWS: JUDGE GIVES @shawnlong21 25 TO LIFE FOR THE MURDER OF @andrewbogut RIP ⚰️🙏🏾 #Nbl20 #NblFinals #SawIncredible pic.twitter.com/gYO0eIGExj

Former Sydney Kings player and Boomer legend, Shane Heal clapped back at the outspoken Williams, reminding him that he’d predicted a 3-0 Kings victory. Williams replied swiftly with a fair bit of heat: “I was wrong…” “Keep it 100 Hammer. Yes you are an ex-King, but Bogut gettin’ bodied and ain’t doin’ s***. Say it and don’t sit on the fence protecting your Boomer.”
So far neither Heal or Bogut have responded though we can only imagine that game three on Thursday will have a little extra flavour to it.
