The ARIA-nominated Torren Foot steps up for the latest edition of Barney Cools’ Cabin Fever series.

With our pals in Victoria locking down (again) for the next few weeks, it seems that this tasty set from Torren Foot couldn’t have come at a better time. The Melbourne-based producer has teamed up with Barney Cools to deliver a mixtape that will undoubtedly be pumping in plenty of housemate-only lockdown raves over the weekend.

As a musician, Torren himself has also been affected by the lockdowns, though he’s endeavoured to make some lemonade with all those lemons. “We decided early that we really needed to take advantage of this time, and try and come out of the other side stronger,” he says. “We used the remixes to continue to develop my sound and skill set, as well as to keep releasing music! Now more than ever it’s important to keep sending positive energy into the world, and this was my way of doing it.”

The mix below, which is the 7th of the Barney Cools Cabin Fever series, is a typically banging mix of house-flavoured, booty-shaking tracks from Torren that is sure to have you itching to get out and hit the dancefloor ASAP – Unless you are some sort of robot programmed to be immune to spicy beats and big hooks.
