The ultimate trolls…
South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are the epitome of savagery, roasting and mocking whomever they so please with the utmost badassery that it’s almost criminal. Most of the time they’re going against the grain, taking the piss out of topics or figures that the mainstream would deem to be at times inappropriate or politically incorrect, but their latest diss is definitely one everyone is gonna get on board with, the two comedic masterminds setting their sights on US President Donald Trump.
The shot comes in the form of a hilarious deep fake, taken from the latest episode of their web series Sassy Justice. The series is based around a character called Fred Sassy, who is an American consumer advocate and reporter for a local TV station in Cheyanne, Wyoming.
But anyway, back to the diss. The video sees the creators use that ever-so terrifying deep fake technology to show the president reading a story about “a very special reindeer, who holds an election in the forest to prove he is the best reindeer, while clad in a colourful Chrissy sweater and cringey little red hat.
The video sees Trump get excessively irritable, finding similarities and parallels between his own current predicament and that of the “cool, awesome reindeer”, saying “Once upon a time there was a little reindeer, all the reindeer agreed he was the best reindeer out of all the reindeer. The next day a grumpy, old, sleepy-eyed reindeer came into town and started saying, ‘You know the reindeer? He’s not awesome’.
“‘But he is awesome’, all the reindeers said.”
Then, the moment we all knew was coming arrives, as Trump goes on to say that the poor little reindeer ended up losing the election because it was “rigged”.
“People started cheating, the numbers changed. And they say, ‘He’s won, he won the election!'”
He then starts to get even more insane, losing his head in classic Trump style as he rants “And he did NOT win the election. HE DIDN’T WIN BECAUSE THEY CHEATED. I fought an honest election, and do you know what happened to the little reindeer? He died. And they all cheered his death, it was so sad. Nobody knew what happiness was anymore, and there was no Christmas ever again.”
It’s actually so insane and cooked you’d be forgiven for thinking this was legit, which just goes to show the fucking amazingness and slight terror inherent to deep fake technology. But also, the ranting and quotes are just so perfectly unhinged that even if it wasn’t a deep fake, you could be convinced to think Trump actually wrote these lines.
