For centuries people used their bareknuckles to resolve disputes before someone thought of organizing such fights as entertainment.Today, boxing is a multi-million dollar sport and boasts the Forbes richest athlete in the world…Floyd Mayweather Jr who in 2014 KO’d 2013 winner Tiger Woods by amassing $US105 million in net revenue.

With a long history and roots to the sport of Boxing Schlitz Brewing attempted to bring back that bygone era at the Hollywood Athletic Club in Los Angeles. Rewind to the 1920’s a swing band, a barbershop quartet, 20th century style bartenders, postcards fresh off a letterpress and cigars being rolled by hand and of course boxing.
