Mark Wahlberg’s made some cooked claims about his daily schedule over the years, insisting he wakes up at 2:30 am, does multiple workouts throughout the day (the first one at 4am), and goes to bed at 7:30 p.m, all between making a bunch of Hollywood blockbusters, raising children with his wife and running his various businesses.
Naturally, a lot of people would shrug this off as another Hollywood star talking out of his ass, but Wahlberg is a different breed, and he backs up all the shit he talks and then some in the trailer for his new HBO Max series titled Wahl Street.
The new teaser sees the ins-and-outs of his everyday life, a documentary of sorts about everything he’s got going on at any given time. It isn’t glitzy or at all portrays him as the sort of hero that Hollywood loves to peddle. Instead, it just shows the man working non-stop, which seems to be the direction the show is wanting to head in, with an official synopsis reading “Along the way, viewers will learn powerful business and life lessons as he navigates the numerous challenges of a global pandemic, all while trying to maintain and expand his vast portfolio. Wahl Street will also introduce the cast of colourful characters that make up Wahlberg’s real-life entourage.”
Wahl Street premieres on HBO Max on April 15. Check the full trailer below (and keep your eye out for a sneaky cameo from a Game Of Thrones star below)
