Sporty and stylish, is the LV x NBA collaboration worth it’s exxy price tag?

In news that’ll delight fashionable ballers the world over, French fashion house Louis Vuitton has teamed-up with the NBA to unveil their new basketball-shaped handbag. The curiously-designed accessory, which is part of the NBA x Louis Vuitton’s latest Season Two lookbook, has all the features of your average NBA-grade basketball, with grain grip leather and gold-embossed logos of the iconic dribbler. The bag replicates the same size as an official NBA basketball, and can even be equipped with detachable netting for that extra sporty touch. 

But prospective buyers beware, the basket-bag is only for true ballers, coming in at the eye-watering price of around $5,700 AUD. That’s one hell of an expensive slum dunk. And if that price tag wasn’t enough, the basketball bag is just one of many accessories, shoes and limited edition clothing released as part of Louis Vuitton’s years-long creative partnership with the NBA.
