Can carry a piece of art history with you wherever you go…

For those of you familiar with graffiti art, you’d no doubt be familiar with legendary African-American artist Jean-Michel Basquiat. His meteoric rise in the 1980s was the stuff you see in movies (he actually had a movie made about him, a proper favourite in the LWA offices), soaring through the ranks of the New York art world to the very top with the help of his spray painted crowns and scribbled words that referenced his Haitian and Puerto Rican heritage along with political and social issues.

Now, CASETiFY are coming through super hard to celebrate the arthouse icon, launching a limited edition high-tech accessory collection on June 29th showcasing some of Basquiat’s finest works in the Basquiat x CASETiFY collection.

From highly-recognised pieces like ‘Self Portrait’ to ‘In Italian’ to ‘Hollywood Africans’ and plenty more, the new new drop is truly helping fans to re-immerse themselves in one of the most influential artists of the 20th century.

And in a bit of a historic move for CASETiFY, the collection will be introducing two new case types – with Basquiat’s iconic ‘Skull’ being printed on the first ever CASETiFY Canvas Material Case, in an attempt to further replicate the texture and unique sensibilities of his work. They’re also flashing things up as well, introducing a new metallic, gold-coloured case, in an effort to highlight the recurring Basquiat motif ‘Dextrose, 1982.’

Prices are set to range from $78.00 to $101.00 and will be available to purchase from CASETiFY’s official website here. Check out more pieces from the new collection below.
