The Murwillumbah community is coming together.

Though it’s been out of the news cycle for many of us for a few weeks, the rebuild from the devastating floods in Northern NSW and South East Queensland is an ongoing reality for the people of those regions. The only silver lining that has emerged from the disaster that cost lives, homes and businesses, is an unwavering community spirit with locals turning to each other in their moment of need and finding support and mateship.

Tomorrow, Murwillumbah Showgrounds is hosting Wet Mess, a fundraiser that will see local bands, DJs, food trucks and more come together for a day of celebration, with all money raised going to local victims of the floods. Giveaways on the day include:
