Ending the year on a high…

Following their sold out Dangerous tour around the country along with a nationwide support slot for eternal shredders The Amity Affliction, punk-lords WAAX have announced a hot new batch of tour dates for the tail end of this year, in support of their upcoming album At Least I’m Free which is out next week.

Led by last year’s ‘Most Hated Girl’ along with recent singles ‘Dangerous’, ‘Help Me Hell’ and ‘Read Receipts’, At Least I’m Free shows the progression of the band’s sound and it’s noticeable revamp; archaic riffs and programmed beats helping to further develop upon the fiery nature of 2019’s Big Grief.

Kicking off on October 6th, the tour will see the Brissy/Meanjin-based four-piece take to venues all across the country, hitting up the likes of Sydney’s Metro Theatre, Byron Bay’s The Northern, Brissy’s The Tivoli and plenty more, all before they wrap things up at Torquay hotel on December 3rd.

Speaking on their return to the road, the WAAX frontwoman explains, “We cannot wait to see everyone out on the road, it’s going to be so special. We didn’t get a chance to tour our last album so this one will make up for lost time! It will be a super exciting immersive world for our community to party in.”

No doubt plenty will be made up for once the band are let loose across the country. Tickets are understandably expected to fly for this one though, so you best get in quick! You can cop them here. For now, check out the full list of dates for WAAX’s At Least I’m Free tour below and be sure to pre-save At Least I’m Free here.
