Vans has teamed up with television show One Piece for a collection honouring the anime series’ aesthetic, characters and quests. Spanning a range of Vans’ footwear and apparel, the collaboration spotlights some of One Piece’s most memorable moments, from the main character Monkey D. Luffy to the infamous pickpocketer “Cat Burglar” Nami.
Drawing on the nautical styles of the anime series, the Vans x One Piece the highlights of the collection include the cartoonish twist on the shoemaker’s classic Sk8-Hi Punk Hazard, which now features a 60 degree graphic that wraps the entire show, with each side representing One Piece’s fire and frozen sides. The Vans Classic Old Skool, meanwhile, is embroidered with the show’s devil fruits, alongside One Piece symbols which pay tribute to the Straw Hat Cap.
The show’s loveable mascot Chopper is elsewhere featured on the collection’s Authentic 44 DX, which mixes the character with Vans’ iconic checkerboard print. The Vans x One Piece collection will be available at Vans stores in Australia and New Zealand in late November, 2022.
