One of Vans’ most history-focused collabs yet…

Hot off their latest reimagining of the Range Pant, Vans are wasting no time in getting the ball rolling in 2023, with their most recent endeavour seeing them team up with Joe Freshgoods for their new collab, “Chocolate Valley Resort”.

Made up of footwear, apparel and accessories, the new drop is a history-focused dedication to travel and leisure from the Black experience. It’s a sentiment close to home for Joe Freshgoods himself, with the apparel icon explaining, “Chocolate Valley Resort is inspired by my love for travel and research. For this collection I wanted to create something that aligns with the rich history of Vault by Vans, but from a new perspective. Chocolate Valley Resort marries the history of Black travel and leisure with winter-ready pieces that blend playfulness and functionality.”

Aesthetically, the collection adheres to Freshgoods’ description, with the collection reinterpreting workwear with new-age silhouettes and colour ways. Highlights include the Resort Puffer, Chocolate Cardigan, the Cabin Tee and Resort Uniform Cargo.

And of course, some quintessential Vans favourites also get a makeover too, with the Sk8-Hi Reissue Platform VLT LX decked out with quilted uppers and suede panels. You’ve definitely got to see this collection to believe it.
