Back to where it all began.
Following the saddening cancellation of the long-awaited Maximum Joy yesterday arvo, Sydney OGs Astral People teamed up with Untitled Group for a very last-minute party. Tapping Sydney staple Liberty Hall as the designated venue for the night’s proceedings, attendees quickly turned out in droves, desperate to see the likes of UKG don DJ EZ, producer-extraordinaire Vyne Hall, Young Marco, Ben UFO and homegrown hero, Moktar (for free!). All of whom delivered off chops sets, the various producers and DJs pushing the tempo as the crowd revelled in the talent on display. A special moment no doubt came during Young Marco’s ‘What You Say’ edit, with everyone being transported to their late child/early teen years as nostalgia filled the air. The night as a whole was a solid example of making the best out of a bad situation, and as always, we were there to capture the action. Get caught up via the gallery above:
