Even Shannon Noll got in on the action…

Last night, the Hordern Pavilion hosted the 2024 TikTok Awards, which saw 1,500 creators, celebs, and VIPs packed into celebrate everything TikTok and dish out 13 awards to the platform’s favourite creators.

The top honour went to Bridey Drake, crowned Creator of the Year, with her girl-next-door, unfiltered and authentic videos, clearly resonating within Australia and beyond. Sam Fricker won Sport & Fitness Creator, Royel Otis took Music Artist of the Year, and Leah Halton’s lip-sync video, which pulled 932 million views, was named Video of the Year.

“This is such a huge honour, winning this award means so much, as TikTok has played a huge role in where I am today,” Bridey said. “Everything I have achieved as a creator and a business owner has been made possible thanks to this incredible platform. I’m also so grateful to my amazing TikTok community who have been by my side since this journey began! I can’t wait to keep creating, connecting, and sharing. Thank you to everyone who voted for me.”

It wasn’t just about the trophies. Shannon Noll joined viral star Cyril Riley for ‘Stumblin’ In’, Carla Wehbe delivered a standout performance of ‘Austin (Boots Stop Workin’)’, and JoJo Siwa closed the night with ‘Karma’, leaving everyone on a high.

The crowd included Anna Paul, Chloe Hayden, Brenton Thwaites, and plenty of TikTok’s biggest names. Missed it? Catch highlights on @tiktok_australia today, with a full replay on Binge from December 2. Check out the full list of winners below:
