If you’re not across LA label Gallery Dept., let us give you a 10-second run-down. The brand was founded by artist and designer Josué Thomas, and specialises in elevated streetwear, clashy cuts and paint-spattered shirts – the kind of stuff you want to believe exists at thrift stores but doesn’t really.
Having dropped a paint-covered off-white Authentic 44 earlier in the year, they’re now returning to the classic silhouette for a black version that, in our humble opinion, pops wayyyy harder.
With paint cascading down the sides and their “Art That Kills” slogan plastered along the distressed sidewall, these shoes look so good that you probably won’t want to wear them out of the house (though you totally should).
