The Goldy-based photographer has been producing eye candy in the fashion and lifestyle space for around 15 years, and seems to have a knack for squeezing every inch of energy out of every shoot in this kind of maximalist way that is still really approachable… if that makes sense. Let’s just say he’s vastly better at taking photos than we are at describing his work.
Last night, among a crowd of mates, photographers, models, designers and Goldy creative types, Troy celebrated the launch of his first coffee table book, SLF TTLD. The hefty 372-page tome pulls together more than a decade of his work across fashion, portraits, travel and everything in between, mixing film and digital with plenty of images that have never had a home before. Self-funded and limited to a first edition of just 500 copies, it’s about as Troy as a book could possibly get.
As you’d expect, the event felt pretty dang party as opposed to book launch, but it was a good chance for us to get an up-close look at SLF TTLD and the glorious work inside. Check out the highlights in the gallery above:
