For proud Warrimay siblings Joey Haddon and Lara Went, their connection to Country was shaped by family, storytelling and a childhood spent exploring the coastline and bushland around Forster. Their parents passed down a deep appreciation for the land, culture and ocean, which continues to play a huge role in Joey’s life as a father and is reflected in Lara’s contemporary Aboriginal art.
Which brings us to the Warrimay Collection. Created in collaboration with Rivvia Projects, the range is a celebration of surfing, First Nations art and the natural world, paying tribute to the people and places that shaped the siblings.
The collection itself features a mix of surf trunks, everyday shorts, polos and tees, with Lara’s artwork appearing across pieces including the Black Cockatoo and Warrimay Dolphin T-shirts. There’s also a selection of caps, socks, towels and tote bags, with the entire range available in youth sizing too.
Better still, 5% of all sales will go towards the Kahi Simon Foundation, established in memory of a proud Warrimay man and close friend of the Haddon family, supporting mental health initiatives and community connection.
You can shop the full collection via Rivvia Projects.
