Solid Gold Bongs From 2400 Years Ago Were Just Discovered In Russia

A solid gold bong might seem like something on Snoop Dogg’s shopping list, but it looks like some ancient sickunts were already way ahead of the rap game – as artifacts dating back 2400 years have just been discovered in Russia.

Anton Gass, an archaeologist from the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation, said that the bongs are “among the finest objects we know from the region” and are a “once in a century discovery.” The solid gold bongs have also been engraved with intricate decorations, and are way better than those Gatorade bottle and hose combinations you see in your local park.

Scientific tests on the objects showed cannabis and opium residue. It has been suggested that Scythian tribal chiefs who dominated much of Europe and Asia used the objects to smoke cannabis as well as consume an opium brew centuries ago.
