You know what’s great? Watching good people become successful – and that’s exactly what’s happened in the case of Skegss. It’s been a huge year for the Byron Bay trio, and we couldn’t be happier for the long-haired lads as they gear up for even more action.

Under the watchful eye of Egyptian management mogul Aaron Girgis, Skegss have spent the past few months touring across Australia and the United States, including Splendour In The Grass and last weekend’s shenanigans at Sounds of The Suburbs. They were also announced as the first signees to Ratbag Records, the label operated by fellow local lords Dune Rats.

Today, we are absolutely chuffed to be premiering their new video for ‘Eat It’ – a single lifted from their 50 Push Ups For A Dollar EP, set to be released on October 16. ‘Eat It’ is a fun, food-filled affair that’ll make you want to headbang in a garage while eating a roast chicken wrap, showcasing the band’s youthful energy and infectious sense of humour.

It’s riffs and good times aplenty in ‘Eat It’, so satisfy your cravings and watch the lo-fi video. Skegss also have a handful of shows coming up, with dates and details below. Also make sure you mark down October 16 in your diaries to cop the EP – you won’t regret it!
