Remember that reality show The Shire? That was absolute dogshit, but this debut Streets of Sydney episode offers a much more enjoyable look at life in the area.

The Streets of Sydney webseries has been building momentum over the past couple of months, offering short Facebook snippets of the hilarious characters that occupy our treasured city. Today is a glorious day, because they’ve just unleashed their first full episode – targeting our friends down south in The Shire.

I don’t know too much about The Shire, except that they love Paul Gallen and my cousin claims to be the first Asian to ever live in Cronulla. I also once had a bourbon at Northies on a Sunday, it was great. Still, this first episode more than delivers, taking a look at The Shire through a range of characters that you might be able to relate to.
