Summer if fast approaching, and so is the season’s most delicious staple: Gelato.

We outline six spots that you should hit in Sydney when dessert time arrives. Check it all out below for the lip-smackin’ goodness:

N2 Extreme Gelato

With freshly churned gelato made before your eyes through the theatrics of liquid nitrogen, N2 is unique not only for its quirky and one-of-a-kind customer experience but also for its indulgent lavish flavours which you can enjoy in the store’s signature industrial space. Its most in-demand flavours include Choc Caramel Creme Brulee, Red Velvet Cupcake and its trademark Ferrero Reveal, which consists of chocolate hazelnut gelato with crispy rice bubble chocolate top, all topped off with a novelty chocolate shot in a syringe. Although its slightly pricier than most other gelato places, it’s definitely worth a taste test. 43/1 Dixon St, Haymarket 2000

Gelato Messina

Hailed one of the ‘it’ places to get gelato, Messina has stores popping up everywhere across Sydney. Recognised for their multi-textured gelato and dazzling flavour combos, Gelato Messina offers up five new flavours per week, which can be anything from outlandish to decadent. Tastes and textures incorporated into their flavours include Cceesecake, caramel, fudges, wafers, fairy bread and banoffee pie. How can you resist?
