‘Off The Wall’ was originally a literal skate term that emerged in the 70s, and was later adopted by Vans.

Throughout its 50 year history, Vans have grown from skate champions to all-encompassing cultural icons, spreading their wings to encompass art, music, fashion and everything in between. From runway model Natalie Westling to hardcore pioneers Suicidal Tendencies, Vans have left no stone unturned in the past half century of collabrations and creativity.

Perhaps that’s why ‘Off The Wall’ is such a fitting mantra for the brand, who have been limitless in their pursuit of envelope-pushing expression, whether that be on a skateboard, canvas or microphone. Come 2017, Vans have tapped some of their longtime ambassadors for the ‘This Is Off The Wall‘ campaign, which sees the endless interpretations of ‘Off The Wall’ that have accumulated over the years.
