Night one of Afterpay Australian Fashion Week wrapped up on a note of nostalgia and innovation last night, with Sydney fashion house BEC + BRIDGE unveiling their new Resort 22/23 collection ‘TWENTY-ONE’. Coinciding with their 21st anniversary, the show saw them take over Carriageworks to highlight a collection that paid tribute to their roots while giving an insight as to where they’re headed. From sleek minimalist pieces to chaotic grunge and everything in between, the collection was a true embodiment of the BEC + BRIDGE creative fingerprint, and there wasn’t a pair of watching eyes that weren’t utterly entranced last night.
