Nothing like an all-night skate sesh after hitting the slopes…

Skaters rejoiced in windy Jindy this past weekend, all adherents of the sport coming together for the return of the beloved Banjo’s Skate Night. Set in the backroom of the Banjo Paterson, The Overflow, 25 skaters went head to head in front of a 300+ strong crowd to show off their halfpipe wizardry. There was plenty of glory up for grabs as well, with prizes for best trick, stack, crowd favourite, newcomer and overall guy & girl on offer for the best entrants of the night. And with local resident DJ Beats by Keats laying down non-stop heaters along with refreshments provided by Heaps Normal, Sailor Jerry and Mr Consistent, you really couldn’t ask for more.
