Party & Bullshit

If anyone needs any ideas on what to get me this Chrissy…

Just one month following the Dyson Zone launch that saw us test out their new noise-cancelling and air purifying headphones, the renowned tech giant invited us back for seconds at Crown Towers in Barangaroo, this time giving us some hands on experience with a wide range of Dyson products across floorcare, environmental care, lighting and wearables, with all of which being out now.

Just in time to save us from the recent back burning that has been plaguing Sydney with smoke, Dyson and their seemingly impeccable timing have doubled down on indoor air quality with their new Dyson Purifier Big+Quiet™ Formaldehyde. Comprised of a CO2 sensor, new K-Carbon filter for NO2 capture and a bunch of additional upgrades, the new purifier is now capable of cleansing air in large spaces, boasting an impressive 87 litres of airflow per second of purified air over 10 metres.

It’s the crown jewel of Dyson’s purifying range, and considering that they were virtually silent when in use the other day, we’re guessing they won’t step on your toes. They’ve got a price range of $1,499 to $1,599 in either bright nickel/satin dark blue or satin dark blue and gold, which is pretty solid when you consider you’re literally paying for clean air.

Dyson has also found time to cater for bustling home office unveiling the Dyson Solarcycle Morph™. Set to take the place of your new desk light, the Dyson Solarcycle Morph™ features local daylight tracking and is capable of dispensing light in four different modes – indirect, task, feature or ambient light. It packs a whole lot of bang for your buck, especially when you consider that its personalised via the MyDyson App.

We flicked between the four different light modes on our phones with complete ease, and we got used to the app scarily quickly, despite being introduced to it just minutes prior. It comes in at a total to $899 and comes in a sleek white/silver. Needless to say, if anyone needs any ideas on Chrissy presents for me this year, look no further:

If your needs aren’t exactly catered for with the Dyson Purifier Big+Quiet™ Formaldehyde or the Dyson Solarcycle Morph™, never fear, as Dyson have unveiled a range of heating and cooling purifiers, consisting of the Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool Gen 1, Dyson Purifier Cool Gen 1 and Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde.

Much like the Dyson Solarcycle Morph™, they’re controlled with the MyDyson App, which takes a huge load off your mind when you’re trying to get it to work in +30 degree heat. Understandably, they were among the standouts of the whole showcase we attended, with their sleek and portable designs enabling them to be spread out amongst the various rooms with ease. Clocking a total of $799, $899 and $1,099, respectively, they have pretty much you could ask for as we head into the warmer months.
