There are a few important ingredients that we’ve come to expect from our favourite live music experience, For The Love, over the years. A sunkissed, carefree atmosphere, energetic attendees, ready to dance the night away, and some of the biggest artists in the country. Last night’s iteration of FTL on the Gold Coast had all those ingredients in spades.
Cherry-picking the best of Australian talent, there was a very homegrown feel yesterday as our ears were treated to powerful performances from Ebony Boadu, Boo Seeka, George Maple, Telenova and Running Touch, before Allday and Mallrat induced mass sing-alongs with anthemic sets. Dom Dolla, the evening’s main event, failed to disappoint, delivering an immersive set that had us ending the night in a euphoric haze.
