Garage-rock legends The Buoys kicked off the evening nicely showcasing their talent for getting us bouncing a humming along at the same time, before NZ’s Wax Chattels blew some haircuts all the way up to Darlinghurst. Next up was Sydney’s favourite punks These New South Whales who, as always, produced a set that was full of tongue-in-cheek banter and anthemic tunes, setting the stage perfectly for The Garden who lived up to all the videos we’ve been watching on YouTube for the past few months.
