Adhering to the sense of community it’s become renowned for, clothing lords JAG hit Porch Ceramics in Bondi last week to celebrate their latest range, putting together an event that embodied both the carefree spirit and emphasis on quality that makes up JAG apparel.
Ranging from sweeping maxi dresses to denim shorts, polo shirts, playsuits, blazers and more, the new range strikes at the heart of the modern Aussie style, all the while minimising its impact on the environment with low impact fabrics such as linen and cotton-blended linen. It all aligns with JAG’s mission of achieving complete sustainability, the apparel vendor’s target of 95% low impact fibres by 2025 well within reach as they celebrate 65% low impact fibres to date.
It’s a worthy endeavour, and naturally is one worth celebrating, and so we tagged along with the JAG community to Porch Ceramics to rein it in. And the festivities didn’t disappoint, attendees (Sarah Ellen, Ashleigh Tavares, Jake Pedro and Nick Truelove just to name a few) treated to an hour-and-a-half ceramics session overlooking Tamarama Beach, margaritas and negronis flowing by the dozen.
And of course our stomachs were well look after, being treated to an an organic lunch curated by Porch and Parlour, complete with natural wines by Minimum Wines and cocktails by Cocktail Porter. And with an acoustic performance by local muso Josh Kempen, you really couldn’t ask for more. But don’t just take our word for it, get caught up on all the action via the gallery above.
