Having released one of the year’s standout albums in 99.9%, it’s no wonder that Kaytranada’s entire Australian tour sold out well before it begun – and over the weekend, Sydney got to experience the producer live for the first time in three years.

First up was The Enmore Theatre – silky smooth and soulful dance cuts dominated the night, while the unified bounce of the crowd during Anderson.Paak collaboration ‘Glowed Up’ was something to remember. For those of us who still wanted to kick on, we strolled down the road to neighbouring venue The Factory Theatre, where support acts Stwo and Lou Phelps soundtracked the night – and Kaytranada himself poured liquor on the keenest punters in the front row. He really is a man of the people!
