What a difference a week can make. Following the wet weather/ apocalyptic storms experienced at Laneway Sydney the weekend before, Tim Bailey and co. were smiling down on the Melbourne edition with postcard weather on festival day. Customarily and only semi-ironically donned a ‘day for it’, Melbourne’s music lovers descended on Footscray Park in their glittery and sunglass-clad masses to catch their favourite acts at one of Australia’s best boutique festivals.
